Baron prides itself on its strength of existing capital relationships, with certain long-standing partnerships spanning 30+ years. Investments are typically funded through three main sources of capital: life insurance companies, private equity firms, and friends and family relationships.

Relationships built from decades of debt brokerage experience help provide Baron a competitive advantage over other investment groups through the ability to remain nimble in finding the most attractive debt financing.

Current lender relationships are comprised of life insurance companies, CMBS conduit lenders, debt and equity funds, national and regional banks, government agencies and other private capital sources.

INVESTMENT CRITERIA

Baron identifies and invests in markets with strong job and population growth and diverse economies. Regionally focused, our team has a deep understanding of the markets in which we invest, establishing confidence in our investments and value and trust in our partnership. Baron is seeking value-add investment opportunities in multifamily, industrial, and self-storage. Additionally, Baron is actively pursuing select multifamily, industrial, and self-storage development opportunities.
