Baron Properties is excited to announce the recent acquisition of a self-storage facility located at 5317 W Burnham Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Located on 3.5 acres of land, the property was constructed in 1950 and renovated in 2018. Formerly an industrial warehouse, the renovated facility includes 594 drive-in units. Additionally, 156 units of new drive-up product has been built on the excess ground onsite. In total, the facility includes 750 units of drive-up and drive-in self-storage units.

Baron teamed with VanWest Partners on the acquisition of the facility and purchased the property upon certificate of occupancy. CubeSmart Storage is serving as the property’s third-party manager.

With this acquisition, Baron’s self-storage portfolio now totals ten properties with more than $95 million of capital deployed to-date. Baron is aggressively pursuing new investment and development opportunities in primary and secondary markets throughout the Midwest and Southwest.
