Baron Properties is excited to announce the recent acquisition of a self-storage facility located at 21300 Doral Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin. The facility includes 555 drive-up self-storage units and  constructed in 2015. The property is located on 4.87 acres in Waukesha, an affluent suburb 19 miles due west of downtown Milwaukee. The facility represents the premier self-storage product in the market and features 24-hour video surveillance, 24-hour keypad gate access, and individually-alarmed units. Baron teamed with VanWest Partners on the acquisition of the facility. CubeSmart Storage is serving as the property’s third-party manager.

With this acquisition, Baron’s self-storage portfolio now totals nine properties with more than $85 million of capital deployed to-date. Baron is aggressively pursuing new investment and development opportunities in primary and secondary markets throughout the Midwest and Southwest. Baron plans to reach $100 million of self-storage investments and developments by year-end, 2018.
