Baron Acquires 315 Unit Apartment Community in Gilbert, AZ

Phoenix, AZ, June 19, 2019 – An affiliate of Baron Property Services LLC (“Baron Properties”) has closed on the purchase of SanTan by Baron (formerly Pillar at SanTan), a 315-unit apartment community in Gilbert, AZ.
SanTan by Baron was originally built in 2009 and currently offers studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom floor plans. One of the most unique features of SanTan by Baron is the property’s 22 casita style homes that offer a spacious floor plan reminiscent of a single-family style home.
Apartment interiors will be undergoing a significant renovation with upgrades to kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and fixtures. Most of the community’s common areas will also undergo an impactful renovation to bring a new, modern face to the impressive community.
At 2910 S. Greenfield Road in Gilbert, AZ, the community is conveniently located south of Highway 202 from SanTan Village Marketplace, which is just a 15-minute walk from the property. The open-air mall features a Macy’s, Harkins Theatres, and Dillard’s, and there are over 50 restaurants in the area. In addition to the mall, the Gilbert School District was ranked as the 4th best in the country, which is another big draw for the community.
